Let Him Go

“Fight for family.”

Margaret Blackledge (Diane Lane) wants her grandson back, and after the death of their son, she and her retired-sheriff husband George (Kevin Costner) leave their Montana ranch to go find him. The boy is living off the grid in the Dakotas with a dangerous family led by Blanche Weboy (Lesley Manville). Thomas Bezucha shoots the empty plains and long roads plainly, keeping the camera patient as the couple closes in.
