“The gang's all here.”

A Chinese crime lord is pushing hard to get his brother out of prison, and the trail lands on Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover). Richard Donner puts the LAPD partners back in the field with Leo Getz (Joe Pesci), Lorna Cole (Rene Russo) and a young detective, Lee Butters (Chris Rock). Murtaugh and Riggs are older now, with trouble at home and in their bodies, and the job keeps coming whether they are ready or not.
