Let's Not Get Angry

Antoine Beretto (Lino Ventura) is a former gangster who wants nothing more than to run his boating club on the coast and be left alone. Then an old accomplice shows up asking for a loan, and the money can only come back through a crook who has gone into hiding, so Antoine goes looking for it. Georges Lautner shoots the whole thing in a bright, loose, sun-faded style that keeps the film light on its feet.
