“James Bond is out on his own and out for revenge.”

James Bond (Timothy Dalton) has just stood up at his friend Felix Leiter's wedding when the news arrives: Leiter has been left for dead, and his bride has been murdered. The man behind it is the drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi), and Bond quits MI6 to get inside his organization. John Glen builds a Bond film where the cause is private grief, and the mission is no longer for queen or country.
