In 2007, Sadie Jones (Mandy Moore) and Ben Murphy (John Krasinski) are newly engaged and ready to book her family's church for the wedding. Reverend Frank (Robin Williams) will only bless them after his marriage prep course, which comes with outrageous classes, odd homework and a close look at their private lives. Ken Kwapis puts the couple through it together, and each assignment tests how well they know each other.
