“Boy meets girl. Girl eats boy.”

Zach Orfman (Dane DeHaan) is still mourning his girlfriend when he finds Beth Slocum (Aubrey Plaza) back in her parents' house, alive and apparently unaware she was ever gone. Jeff Baena lets Zach take the second chance, with Beth's parents, Maury (John C. Reilly) and Geenie (Molly Shannon), keeping things oddly calm around him. Zach has his first love back, and he stands to lose her all over again.
