And Life Goes On

“The Earth moved, we didn't!”

A film director (Farhad Kheradmand) and his young son Puya (Pouya Payvar) drive toward the earthquake-struck region of Guilan, hoping to find the cast of a film he made there a few years before. Abbas Kiarostami follows their car along damaged roads, stopping to ask survivors who have lost almost everything what they know. Every person the director questions might be the answer he needs, or one more name he cannot cross off.
