Life as a Fatal Sexually Transmitted Disease

Tomasz Berg (Zbigniew Zapasiewicz) is a doctor and a lifelong atheist who learns that his lung cancer is past the point of surgery. His ex-wife Anna (Krystyna Janda) offers him the money for treatment in Paris, though the doctors in his own field have already told him how it ends. Krzysztof Zanussi follows the two of them as Tomasz starts testing his old convictions, and the people around him, with whatever time he has left.
