“Hope is at the heart of every journey.”

A message arrives from a stranger, and eighteen-year-old David Colton (Raphael Ruggero) learns that his birth mother, Melissa (Dawn Long), has been looking for him. His adoptive father James (Kirk Cameron) and mother Susan (Rebecca Rogers) have given him an easy, settled life, and her letter unsettles it. Kevin Peeples builds the film on a true adoption story, where a choice made years ago is weighed against the family it created.
