Light of My Eyes

“Nour Einy”

Two friends part ways when one travels to a European country, and the other, Nour (Tamer Hosny), stays behind in Egypt to look after a blind girl, Sara (Menna Shalabi). He falls in love with her. When they return to Egypt together, Nour finds that she is in love with his friend, and that she went abroad to look for a modern treatment that might give her sight back. Wael Ihsan plays the story as a comedy at first, then lets it settle into a quieter ache.
