Mado (Juliette Binoche) is nearly fifty, out of work, and wants someone to pay attention to her again. She has moved in with her pregnant daughter Avril (Camille Cottin) and Avril's husband, Marc (Lambert Wilson), and then learns she is expecting a child of her own. Noémie Saglio stages the comedy of two pregnancies under one roof with a loose, bright touch, letting the family's bickering carry the scenes.
