Liliom

Liliom Zadowski (Charles Boyer) is a carousel barker in Budapest who wants nothing more than to keep being the man every woman at the fairground looks at. Then he takes up with Julie (Madeleine Ozeray), a young maid, and both lose their jobs the same week. Fritz Lang's story is of two people with no money and no prospects, whose love is more passionate than it is sensible.
