Lilo (Daveigh Chase) is a lonely girl in Hawaii grieving her parents and pushing away her older sister Nani (Tia Carrere). She adopts what she thinks is a small dog from a shelter, but it's actually Stitch (Chris Sanders), an illegal alien experiment created by scientist Jumba (David Ogden Stiers). What neither of them expects is that the broken pieces of a family can fit back together.
