Lilya 4-ever

Lilja (Oksana Akinshina) is sixteen and wants only to follow her mother to America, but she is left behind in a bleak post-Soviet town with an aunt who takes the flat and gives her nothing. Lukas Moodysson stays close to her as the money runs out and the neighbors turn their backs, until a man named Andrei offers her work in Sweden. Her one real company is Volodja (Artyom Bogucharsky), a younger boy who sticks to her side.
