“High school girls play The Blue Hearts!”

Three days before the school festival, a high school band loses its guitarist and its singer and decides to play anyway, learning the Blue Hearts' punk songs from scratch. Kyoko (Aki Maeda), Kei (Yuu Kashii) and Nozomi (Shiori Sekine) recruit Son (Bae Doona), an exchange student from Korea, to stand at the microphone. Nobuhiro Yamashita lets them rehearse badly and late into the night, and what grows between the four of them is a friendship none of them planned.
