Linha de Passe

“Life is what you make of it.”

Cleuza (Sandra Corveloni) is a pregnant single mother on the outskirts of São Paulo, cleaning the apartment of a middle-class family while raising four sons by four different fathers. Walter Salles and Daniela Thomas follow the boys as well, among them Dênis (João Baldasserini), who works as a motorcycle courier and has a baby son living with the child's mother. Dênis rides through the city's traffic, the work unfinished, his small boy waiting somewhere else.
