Lipstick Under My Burkha

“It takes balls to be a woman.”

Four women in the same Bhopal neighborhood are lying, stealing and hiding things just to get through an ordinary week. Shireen (Konkona Sen Sharma), Rehana (Plabita Borthakur), Leela (Aahana Kumra) and Usha (Ratna Pathak Shah) each keep a private life that the people around them would shut down. Alankrita Shrivastava gives every secret its own corner of town, and each one can be taken from them.
