Listen Up Philip

Philip (Jason Schwartzman) is a young novelist waiting on his second book, and he is angry at nearly everything: the city's crowds and noise, the promotion he can't be bothered with, his own girlfriend. Alex Ross Perry sends him to the isolated summer home of his idol Ike (Jonathan Pryce), where he finally gets quiet to think about himself. Ashley (Elisabeth Moss), a photographer, is left in the city to find out what the relationship amounts to without him.
