Little Buddha

“A magical journey to a place where the past and present meet”

When Lama Dorje dies, the monks of his Tibetan Buddhist order set out to find his rebirth and come away with three children, one American and two Nepalese. Lama Norbu (Ruocheng Ying) travels to Seattle to ask Lisa (Bridget Fonda) and Dean (Chris Isaak) to let him meet their son Jesse (Alex Wiesendanger). Bertolucci sets the story of Prince Siddhartha (Keanu Reeves) beside theirs, and the boy's parents must decide whether to hand over their only son.
