Little England

“One home, one secret, one man, two sisters.”

On Andros, an island of shipowners that earned the nickname Little England for its wealth, two sisters fall in love with the same man. Orsa (Penelope Tsilika) and Mosha (Sofia Kokkali) both want Spyros (Andreas Konstantinou), and the story runs from the interwar years into the 1950s. Pantelis Voulgaris adapts Ioanna Karystiani's novel, and the film leaves Orsa waiting on the island.
