Little Fauss and Big Halsy

“Little Fauss and Big Halsy are not your father's heroes.”

Little Fauss (Michael J. Pollard) wants to race, and he has a mechanic's hands and nobody to ride for until Big Halsy (Robert Redford) drifts into Arizona with a motorcycle and a hunger to win. They hit the dirt bike circuit together, and Rita Nebraska (Lauren Hutton), a runaway, soon rides along with them, with both men wanting her. Sidney J. Furie films the racing tracks and cheap motels in dusty, sun-faded color, close to the faces.
