“For everyone who's waited to be chosen, and wasn't... your day has come.”

When Becky "Icebox" O'Shea (Shawna Waldron) is cut from the Peewee football team for being a girl, her father Danny (Rick Moranis) starts a team of his own. He fills it with the other kids who got cut, and they face the town's best squad, coached by his brother Kevin (Ed O'Neill), a former pro. Duwayne Dunham sets the whole thing in an Ohio town, and Danny keeps showing up with a clipboard and a lot of hope.
