Little Lord Fauntleroy

“The enchanting story of a small boy who inherits an earldom”

Cedric Errol (Ricky Schroder) is a cheerful boy in 1880s Brooklyn, living in genteel poverty with his widowed mother (Connie Booth) after his father's death. Then a lawyer, Mr. Havisham (Eric Porter), crosses the Atlantic to tell him he is heir to the Earl of Dorincourt (Alec Guinness), a grandfather who disowned his father for marrying an American. Jack Gold sets a boy's trust against an old man's grudge, and Cedric must go to England without his mother.
