Little Shop of Horrors

(1986)Directed by Frank Oz94 min · PG-13Horror, Comedy
“A singing plant. A daring hero. A sweet girl. A demented dentist. It's the most outrageous musical comedy in years.”

Seymour Krelborn (Rick Moranis) is a nerdy orphan who sweeps up at Mushnik's, a flower shop on Skid Row, and what he wants is Audrey (Ellen Greene), the co-worker he's too shy to talk to. Then he brings home a strange plant he calls Audrey II, which has a craving for blood and soon starts to sing for its supper. Frank Oz stages it all with the theatrical gloss of the stage musical it came from, and lets the plant take the lead voice (Levi Stubbs).
