Little Vera

Vera (Natalya Negoda) has just finished school and spends her nights drinking and sleeping around in a provincial port town, with nothing waiting for her once the days start. At home, her father (Yuriy Nazarov) and mother (Lyudmila Zaytseva) fight, and she brings Sergey (Andrey Sokolov) into the cramped apartment. Vasili Pichul sets this in the last years of perestroika, and the Russian title can also mean "Little Faith", which is what the people in it are short of.
