Little Voice

“Finding your own voice can be magic.”

LV (Jane Horrocks) has barely spoken since her father died, and spends her days in her bedroom with his old records of Shirley Bassey and Marilyn Monroe. At night she sings along, copying those voices so exactly that Ray Say (Michael Caine), a talent agent seeing her mother Mari (Brenda Blethyn), hears her through the floor. Mark Herman follows a shy girl pushed toward a stage, and LV keeps her own voice hidden.
