Little Women

“The story that has lived in our hearts for generations, now comes to the screen for the holidays.”

Jo March (Winona Ryder) wants to be a writer, and she means to make that a living in a country still reeling from the Civil War. Gillian Armstrong follows her and her three sisters, Meg (Trini Alvarado), Beth (Claire Danes) and Amy (Kirsten Dunst, later Samantha Mathis), as they grow up and away from the house where they began. Through every quarrel, the thing that holds Jo to her sisters is the thing she cannot stand to lose.
