“You Only Get One Shot...Take It”

Katy (Eva Mendes) is a network executive whose ratings are sinking, and she pitches a reality show where volunteers play Russian roulette on live television. Bill Guttentag shoots it as a mockumentary, following the producers and contestants like Rex (David Krumholtz), as the lawyers and sponsors circle the idea. The camera keeps coming back to Katy and the people she needs to sign off, and what holds between them is a deal.
