Loafing and Camouflage

“Our national... tragedy now a comedy.”

Ioannis Papadopoulos (Nikos Kalogeropoulos) is a Greek army private who gets posted to the Cinematographic Unit, a corner of the military where nobody seems to know what the work is. Nikos Perakis fills the barracks with Ahilleas Labrou (Giorgos Kimoulis), Colonel Kontelis (Stavros Xenidis) and the rest, all of them going about their duties with a flat, unbothered face. Through it all Ioannis keeps his head down and does as little as the army will let him.
