Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in the Land of Demons

Ogami Itto (Tomisaburō Wakayama), a wandering assassin for hire, is stopped on the road by five warriors who each carry a fifth of his fee and a fifth of what he needs to finish the job. His small son Daigoro (Akihiro Tomikawa) rides along in the baby cart, as he always does. Kenji Misumi films the duels in grainy, hard light, cutting between long stillness and sudden, bloody motion.
