“With all the glamor and glitter of Coney Island that millions everywhere are always eager to see”

On the Fourth of July weekend in 1928, New York is packed and loud, and Mary (Barbara Kent) and Jim (Glenn Tryon) are two working people who live alone among its crowds. They meet at Coney Island and spend the day together on the rides. Pál Fejős lets the day wear on until Mary and Jim stand somewhere in the crowd, each looking for the other's face.
