Lonesome Jim

“Change your outlook. Change your life.”

Jim (Casey Affleck) wants to be a writer, and after failing at it in New York he has nowhere to go but his parents' house in the Midwest. His brother Tim (Kevin Corrigan) takes his own low mood to the extreme and drives a car straight into a tree. Steve Buscemi shot it in Goshen, Indiana, where Jim's slow friendship with Anika (Liv Tyler) becomes the one thing at home he did not expect to need.
