Longford

“The only thing more shocking than her crime was his crusade to free her”

Lord Longford (Jim Broadbent), a Labour peer and devout Christian, believes no one is beyond forgiveness, and he sets out to prove it by visiting Myra Hindley (Samantha Morton) in prison. Tom Hooper follows him as he campaigns for her parole, while Ian Brady (Andy Serkis) and a furious public look on. His wife Elizabeth (Lindsay Duncan) and his family watch Longford's conviction cost him their patience and his own reputation.
