Over the holidays, the Ubriacco family's two dogs, Rocks and Daphne, voiced by Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton, work out that James (John Travolta) is in trouble. His new boss Samantha (Lysette Anthony) has planned a romantic Christmas for the two of them, and he has no idea. His wife Mollie (Kirstie Alley) and the kids have to get to him first. Tom Ropelewski directs it as a loud, bright family comedy built around the dogs' running commentary.
