Looking for Alibrandi

“Sometimes what you're looking for is closer than you think...”

In 1990s Sydney, seventeen-year-old Josie Alibrandi (Pia Miranda) is the daughter of Italian immigrants, and she can't say where she belongs. At home she lives with her mother Christina (Greta Scacchi) and her grandmother Katia (Elena Cotta), and Kate Woods follows her through a year of secrets, a first romance with Jacob (Kick Gurry), and a father she has never met. It is about growing up between two cultures, and nobody around her will let her settle on one.
