Lord of Illusions

“Prepare for the coming.”

Harry D'Amour (Scott Bakula), a private investigator from New York, is working a routine case in Los Angeles when he runs into a cult preparing to bring back its dead leader, Nix (Daniel von Bargen), a sorcerer killed thirteen years earlier. The trail leads toward the illusionist Philip Swann (Kevin J. O'Connor). Clive Barker, adapting his own story, builds the case like a detective picture and lets the supernatural seep in around the edges.
