Lord of the Flies

“Evil is inherent in the human mind, whatever innocence may cloak it...”

Ralph (James Aubrey), one of thirty schoolboys stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, wants only to be rescued and sets about keeping order until a ship comes. He is elected leader, with Piggy (Hugh Edwards) beside him, while Jack (Tom Chapin) pulls a faction of the boys away from the rules. Peter Brook shoots the island as a real place, with a small cast of boys instead of actors playing at children.
