Lord of War

“Where there's a will, there's a weapon.”

An arms dealer sells weapons to some of the world's most notorious dictators and still sleeps at night, and the film wants to know how. Yuri Orlov (Nicolas Cage) is a Ukrainian-American who works the war zones in the years around the Soviet Union's collapse, while Interpol agent Jack Valentine (Ethan Hawke) stays close behind. Andrew Niccol follows Yuri through each deal as he tells himself he is only a salesman, with his conscience waiting for him.
