Lore

“When your life is a lie who can you trust?”

Lore (Saskia Rosendahl) is fourteen, the eldest of five children, and the daughter of high-level Nazis who have vanished in the last days of the war. She has to lead her siblings some 900 kilometers across a defeated Germany to their grandmother's house near Hamburg. Cate Shortland follows them past helpful strangers and hostile ones, with Thomas (Kai-Peter Malina) walking alongside, a young man whose papers the children have no reason to trust.
