Lorna's Silence

“The destiny of a woman caught between love and the laws of the underworld.”

In Belgium, Lorna (Arta Dobroshi), a young Albanian woman, is married to Claudy (Jérémie Renier), a heroin addict, so she can get citizenship. Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne follow her through the paperwork and the small, tired rooms where the arrangement is kept going. Then Claudy tries to get clean, and the man who brokered the deal stands to lose money if he does.
