Lost in Translation

“Everyone wants to be found.”

Bob Harris (Bill Murray), a fading American movie star, is in Tokyo for a Suntory whiskey commercial and can't sleep, can't connect, and has no one to say so to. In the hotel he meets Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson), a recent graduate whose photographer husband is always out working. Sofia Coppola skips the usual romantic beats and lets the two of them simply keep each other company.
