Lotta Leaves Home
In Sweden in 1993, Lotta (Grete Havnesköld) is five years old and refuses to wear the sweater her mother (Beatrice Järås) has picked out. She announces she is leaving home, with her brother Jonas (Martin Andersson) and sister Mia (Linn Gloppestad) looking on. Johanna Hald, adapting Astrid Lindgren's books, makes a small child's dig-in-her-heels stand feel enormous, and Lotta has to find out whether she can really manage on her own.
