Louder Than Bombs

“Break the silence.”

Jonah Reed (Jesse Eisenberg) drives back to the family house when a museum plans an exhibition of his late mother's photographs. Three years after the car crash that killed Isabelle (Isabelle Huppert), his father Gene (Gabriel Byrne) is still doing the daily work of raising Conrad (Devin Druid), the quiet younger son. Joachim Trier puts the three men back under one roof, and Gene keeps cooking dinner as if the table might fill up again.
