Louis & Luca: Mission to the Moon

(2018)Directed by Rasmus A. Sivertsen80 minAdventure, Animation, Family
“A 100 miles north, a bit east and way way up lies the moon.”

Solan Gundersen (Kari Ann Grønsund), a magpie from the village of Pinchcliffe, is picked to be the astronaut when Norway joins the international race to the moon. The mission belongs to Reodor Felgen (Per Skjølsvik), the village's brilliant inventor, and Rasmus A. Sivertsen animates it in stop motion. Reodor has built the rocket himself, and the whole village is counting on a small bird to carry it.
