Love & Revolution

Reme (Ana Wagener) is a traditional mother in Seville in 1977, and all she wants is to keep her teenage son Miguel (Omar Banana), an aspiring artist, safe in a country where homosexuality is still a crime. That fear pulls her into the Andalusian LGBTQ+ movement, which has taken root, oddly enough, inside the Church. Alejandro Marín builds the film around a mother's love, and how far it can push someone past the life she knew.
