Love at Twenty
“The Intimate Secrets of Young Lovers”
Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) is twenty and in love with Colette (Marie-France Pisier), a student he keeps finding reasons to follow around Paris. His segment, directed by François Truffaut, sits beside four others from filmmakers in different countries, Andrzej Wajda among them, with Georges Delerue's score running through all five. Each story gives love at that age its own country and its own accent, and none of them tells you the same thing about it.
