Love Birds

“When it comes to love, sometimes all you need is a little duck.”

An injured duck named Pierre crash-lands on the roof of Doug (Rhys Darby), who has just been dumped and is spending his days feeling sorry for himself. He sets about nursing the bird back to health with help from Holly (Sally Hawkins), an eccentric vet who knows her way around birds. Paul Murphy keeps the story small and close, and it ends up in Doug's cluttered house, a duck with a bandaged wing waddling between the two of them.
