Qiu Huiying (Sylvia Chang) is a woman in middle age whose dying mother asks for one thing: to be buried beside her husband. Then Huiying learns his remains lie in the countryside of Henan Province, tended all these years by his first wife. Chang, who also directed, follows three generations of women, with a granny (Wu Yanshu) at the center, and the daughter Weiwei (Lang Yueting) holding her notebook as the three of them set out.
