Love Is Overrated

His friends have diagnosed Anis (Hakim Jemili) as hopeless with girls, and three years after losing Isma (Alassane Diong), his best friend and mentor, he finally decides to go out and meet people again. Then he meets Madeleine (Laura Felpin), who seems far out of his reach, so he starts telling small lies to impress her. Mourad Winter directs the comedy at an easy, friendly pace, keeping Anis's grief in the room beside the laughs.
