Love, Lies
“A tragedy of jealousy and desires.”
Jung So-yool (Han Hyo-joo) wants to sing in Seoul alongside her best friend Seo Yeon-hee (Chun Woo-hee), and she wants Kim Yoon-woo (Yoo Yeon-seok), the songwriter she loves. It is 1943, under Japanese occupation, and the two women are among the last gisaeng, devoted to classical song. Park Heung-sik follows So-yool's jealousy as Yoon-woo falls for Yeon-hee's voice and the two friends stop being able to look at each other.
